Your AUPE membership entitles you to discounts on everything from cars to insurance to dining out. These discounts are only available to AUPEmembers, so check out what is available, and remember to present your membership card! 

Education

AUPE offers numerous courses to help you in your union life. From an introduction to the union to certification as an Occupational Health and Safety advocate, AUPE’s Education Department is here to help you.

Publications

Be in the know! AUPE’s quarterly magazine Direct Impact, as well as other publications like the Owner’s Manual and Steward Notes, help keep you informed about the goings-on in your union, your province, and your world.

Scholarships

For the children and dependents of members, and members themselves, AUPE offers scholarships and bursaries for post-secondary education.

Benevolent Fund

AUPE maintains a fund to assist members in financial difficulties. Details on who is eligible and how to apply for assistance from this fund can be found on this page.

Area Councils

AUPE’s Area Councils are groups of union volunteers who organize and run family-oriented union events throughout the year.

Long Service Recognition Luncheon 2016

Congratulations to Local 039 Long service members. An awards luncheon was held at SAIT today in which AUPE Vice President Karen Weiers presented members with certificates for 10, 20 and 30 years of AUPE membership. Congratulations to the following members:

Labour School 2015 Comes to a Close
